Noam Carmon is a multi-genre Berlin based Clarinetist.
Coming from a classical background, she obtained her Clarinet Performance Bachelor’s degree from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Tel Aviv and her Master’s degree from the German Trossingen Musikhochschule. In her homeland, Israel, she was part of the Israeli Young Philharmonic Orchestra, won the BMSM contemporary Music competition for the year 2014 and was supported by the America Israel Cultural Foundation. After Graduation she developed as an improviser, focusing in Latin American music, early jazz and free improvisation. She often collaborates with other art disciplines, mainly dance and theater.
Noam performed in festivals and theatres in Switzerland (Lucerne Festival), Italy (Music Fest Perugia), Germany (Podium Esslingen, Young Euro Classics, Folklorum, Rudolstadt festival), the Netherlands (International Chamber Music Festival Schiermonnikoog) Kenya and Israel and is playing with various orchestras, chamber music groups and bands, as well as working as a studio musician. She is a regular member of the Bundesjugendballett Musical Ensemble, Menifa Trio and the Cumbia Reggae band Sistema Sonidero.
